- Digital Inspiration released a hack to download movies and music videos from iTunes for free.
- IRC-galleria, one of the most popular websites in Finland, announced being bought by a Swedish company. Most of the texts in the user interface were translated into Swedish (containing humorous spelling errors).
- Live Sail Die, one of the most popular internet sailing sites, announced they were dropping all news and articles on yachts and dinghies, with the exception of the Laser Class. The front page listed a number of humorous upcoming articles.
- Solitaire Craving displayed cards backward.
- Gush, a popular Australian online community, redirected all its users to a MySpace page, claiming that it was replacing the site because it could have much more "influence" with young people there.
- Michael Arrington announced a merger between TechCrunch and Fucked Company.
- Overclockers Australia changed their regular homepage to a blank white page which stating that the "sauce code hacked by mmx bandits". It then redirects to a random webpage about cats.
- Mobile Gazette reveals that a giant asteroid is likely to impact the earth due to over-use of mobile phones.
- Uncyclopedia replaced their normal front-page with that of Wikipedia's, linking to semi-related articles.
- The BBC's website (UK Version) attempts to confuse readers by announcing "New Sniff-Screen Technology" in their regular promotion area.
- The AfterCast podcast breaks the news that XM Satellite Radio is to create the first ever, podcaster driven channel - XM Widget
- MyGEN Gaming Site posted an article announcing the return of Sega to the video game console market.
- Wowwiki changed their page to become Meowwiki
- Walsall Football Club announced that English Female International Rachel Unitt has signed a deal to become the first female to play in the football league in 2007/08. link
- Australian broadband site Whirlpool claims new ISP filtering legislation in Australia will block all peer to peer (p2p) traffic from July 1.
