Codename Apollo is a cross-OS runtime that allows developers to employ their existing web development skills (Flash, Flex, HTML, Ajax) to build and deploy desktop Rich Internet Applications.

A public alpha of the Apollo runtime, along with an SDK and extension for developing Apollo applications with the Flex framework was released on March 19th, 2007.
