Aperto (supermarket)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Aperto is a franchise of supermarkets located in Swiss train stations. As of now, there are 16 locations, popular for being open every day, as opposed to the majority of Swiss business which are closed on Sunday. Typical hours are from 6AM to 10PM, sometimes less on weekends in some of the smaller cities.

The product selection is similar to any supermarket, with fresh fruit and vegetables, bread, dairy products and meat. Local and regional products are also available, along with liquors and rarer items such as Dr Pepper, which, in Switzerland, are typically only found at American markets.
