Ape Escape series

Ape Escape is a series of video games made by Sony Computer Entertainment, starting with Ape Escape for PlayStation in 1999.The series are widely known for their use of humor with the help of apes,its unique gameplay,and wide variety of popular references to pop culture,as well as being the first to use the Sony Dualshock Controller.

Unlike most games,Ape Escape requires the use of using both Sony Dualshock sticks.The Left Analog Stick allows the player to move,and the Right to attack. While most games jump with one of the 'Shape' buttons,Ape Escape uses R1/R2.The shape buttons arrange the player's Gotcha Gadgets.
