Aoskar

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Aoskar is a fictional deity in the Dungeons & Dragons Planescape campaign setting, and now a dead god.

Aoskar, God of Portals, once used to reside in Sigil, as Sigil is the City of Doors. Residents of the city turned to his worship and he became the most-worshipped god Sigil had ever seen. Some devout followers even considered the Lady of Pain to be an aspect of Aoskar.

The Lady did nothing until one of her own servants, a dabus now known as "Fell", proclaimed himself a cleric of Aoskar. Under the Lady of Pain's orders, Aoskar was killed and his temple destroyed.

The Harmonium will arrest any who speak his name, burn anything with his image, and outlaw any reference to the God of Portals.
