Aorounga is an impact crater in Chad, Africa.

It is 12.6 km in diameter and the age is estimated to be less than 345 million years (Carboniferous). The crater is exposed to the surface. It is now sometimes referred to as Aorounga South, because it is accompanied by two nearby circular structures revealed by Space Shuttle SIR-C radar, which may be buried impact craters.
