[edit] Welcome, from Journalist

Welcome!

Hello, AnYoNe!, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

  • Since others have mistook me for a program or bot of some kind that automatically welcomes newusers, Ill just like to start putting it out there that Im 100% real :)

First off, yes, Im black :), and no, I didnt take any offence whatsoever. Yes, there is a way to know the newcomers: I patrol a page called the Recent Changes page, and it shows all the latest edits on the site. I can notice newcomers because the link to their talk page is red, not blue. I can welcome others by leaving this sign: {{welcome}} on their page. I do it because its fun and Im also on the Welcoming committee.

[edit] Help

Don't worry about bothering me, Im here to help and if you have any problems at all, dont hesitate to contact my talk page; ill get back as soon as I get the message.

To post message (Im guessing thats what PS means), you go to the persons talk page (like you did at mine), and you click edit and write your message. You then sign your name by inserting four tildés after your message like this: ~~~~. click "preview" to see if everything looks how you want it to, then click save. Its simple.

You can edit your biopage anyway you want. First off, you can start with your name, hobbie etc. Then when you have done that, you can add all the fancy stuffs like border and color —you can have my blue border if you like. Just tell me when you are ready for it. If you dont want your background to be green like mine, just tell me and Ill show you how to change its colour.

You can delete any post you want to. Simply click edit to edit that particlar section, delete or backspace to erase the info, then click save, and the page will appera blank. If theres anything you need help with, just ask, its no bother.

[edit] License tagging for Image:IMAG0030.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:IMAG0030.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
