  • Candidate must pass the Diablo Test. No exceptions therein are recognised. This is the minimum not the ideal.
  • If the candidate fails the Diablo Test, he would be deemed to be unfit for administering a online encyclopaedia. Vandal fighting and housekeeping are irrelevant for this purpose.
  • Even if the candidate passes the Diablo Test, he would still be deemed to have failed if he does not expressly submit to the recall list

[edit] AfD

A tag has been placed on Aalwar - opening, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines. -- Hariharan91 07:41, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Aalwar - opening

An editor has nominated Aalwar - opening, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aalwar - opening and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. [edit] Billa (2007 film)

You and Pokkiri (talk contribs) have been adding an image with a false license to Billa (2007 film) and/or adding an uncited plot which may or may not be taken from Don (2007 film). Please do not make any further edits to that article until you have read and understood WP:V, WP:CITE, WP:RS, and WP:FU. Please note that any further addition of that blatant copyvio image to the article will result in a block. If you wish to add a plot section, please discuss it on the article's talk page and reach a consensus before you do so. I am specifically not stating that the plot that you are adding is incorrect, only that you do not have consensus or a reliable citation for the plot. Thank you. --Yamla 04:36, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

I didn't edit plot. Anwar 12:44, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Kalanidhi Maran

I added some references to Kalanidhi Maran, which I think demonstrate notability. --Eastmain 02:42, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your work on the article for Theni District

I came across this article just a while ago, and I thought the work that you and other editors had put in was impressive (the maps, and details provided about the area, etc.) I commented about this on the talkpage of the article. Keep up the good job. AppleJuggler 03:16, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy criteria

Hi! Lack of sources is indeed not a speedy criteria. In general, speedy deletion is reserved for the articles which are either clearly nonsense, vandalism, copyvio, or which cannot be expanded given the information available in the article (see the complete list of reasons at WP:CSD). Contributions of banned users can also be speedied on sight, but I don't see that particular editor in the list of banned users.

To me, the best course of action seems to be AfD. That is, of course, if you are reasonably sure that the article has no place in Wikipedia. Hope it helps.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 14:30, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

See User:Prin and his confirmed fertile farm. Also see WP:CSDUA Anwar 14:32, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
CSDUA is still in the proposed stage. Prin certainly looks abusive, but s/he has not been formally banned. The Filmware lists do not meet CSD at this point of time. No matter from which standpoint you look at it, speedy deletion is simply not justified. Being a person who has great regards to procedures, I'd say you should go with AfD for any of Prin's articles that do not explicitly meet CSD. You could also prod them first, but I don't know if that would have much chance of success. Best,—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 14:48, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Chennai.jpg listed for deletion

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Chennai.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. [edit] Size of the map on your user page

Hey, that map too large for people with smaller monitors. Can you reduce the size of the map a bit for better user-friendliness? Just wondering, and strictly no offense intended. Cheers. Aditya Kabir 14:59, 15 February 2007 (UTC) - P.S. What's with this User:Prince Godfather person? Shall I report him somewhere?

[edit] GISNIC images

Hello. I see that you have uploaded many copyrighted images with the tag that the "the copyright holder has irrevocably released all rights to it". As you may know, wikipedia places great importance to copyrights. Hence, I would like to verify that the copyright owner has indeed released all right. Could you forward me some proof of the same? - Aksi_great (talk) 11:56, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
