Anuvanahalli

Anuvanahalli is the village in the Shivani Hobli, Tarikere Talluk, Chikkamagaluru district, Karnataka State of India. This village is in the "Bayalu seeme" part of the district. Veerashaiva Lingayath religion is the major religion of the area. The Lingayaths of the area took sadachara as the primary aachara among the Panchaachara s (5 codes of conduct) of the Lingayaths. Hence they are also called saadaru / sadaru / Sadu Lingayath.

Anuvanahalli is famous for many things including the Shree UmaMaheshwara Jathra (Fair) which happens around the month of december/january of every year. And also for its people who have done some remarkable achievements abroad.Anuvanahalli also has produced a good number of talents in the field of jaanapada esp. in the field of RangaBhoomi and VeeraGaase. One noticeable thing about this village is that most of the last generation people are Teachers!!
