Anuranan is the directorial debut by Bengali film-maker Aniruddha Roy-Chowdhury. This film is scheduled to be released in Q4 2006.

Anuranan (meaning "resonance" in Bengali) explores the relationships of two married couples. The story explores the impacts and consequences of their relationships.

Rahul Bose stars as an architect who arrives in a lonely hill station in Sikkim to help build a new holiday resort. He finds himself being captivated by his surroundings and by Preeti (played by Raima Sen), the wife of the man financing the project, Amit (Rajat Kapoor).

The film was shot on location in India and the UK and director Aniruddha Roy-Chowdhury describes the amazing scenery of the hill station in the mountains as making the Kanchenjunga "the third character" in the movie (Telegraph India, November 2005).

The film will feature music composed by tabla meistro Tanmoy Bose.
