Hi - it's not a matter of "legitimacy" - if you read

"Blogs, social networking sites (such as MySpace) and forums should generally not be linked to unless mandated by the article itself."

It also says that

"On articles about topics with many fansites, including a link to one major fansite may be appropriate, marking the link as such. Fanlistings are generally not informative and should not ordinarily be included."

So at best we include a link to ONE fansite - that's it.
