Dispute Resolution Activites
I am a current Mediator for the Mediation Cabal and for a one-off case on behalf of the Mediation Committee; I am also a Member's Advocate for the AMA. When mediating, I follow the procedures set out in the Wikipedia:Mediation page, as well as my own personal guidelines, located here.
I believe the key to a successful mediation is neutrality of the mediator; as such, I treat my neutrality policy and WP:NPOV with the utmost priority - in everything from comments and decisions to headlines. I also believe that these simple rules result in a successful outcome for the majority - if not all - of the editors in question.
