It would be great if someone could add something of the history of the site. It is described as a monastic church and I wonder to which order it belonged.

I'm sorry to be flippant, but I thought this was a disease caused by listening to too much John Cage music. Please remember that we are talking about the Eastern Orthodox Church not Roman Catholicism. I've never heard any mentioning of "Orders" like e.g. the Benedictines, Franciscans and the like in the Orthodox Church (and I've read a lot about Orthodoxy). Regarding the name; well, Orthodox churches often have names that may seem odd to a Catholic or Protestant (I'm Lutheran myself), but perhaps a Greek is able to elaborate further on this issue? --Valentinian 22:46, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
