what is a "reportedly sometime academic" ? This language is vague.

The language is precise, she is reported to have previously been an academic as given. Midgley 00:12, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Let there be clarity. Reportedly means according to reports or rumors;supposedly.

Sometime means former or previously but it also has a connotation of indefinite or uncertain time.So I suggest saying "previously an academic" instead,as it is neutral.
