[edit] Death date (and ergo, feast day)

In doing some cursory research for the infobox (I usually double check information), I have found among several sources a disagreement on Bl. Anthony's date of death. Some sources say November 6, others November 7. I first noticed this while on the Patron Saint Index, where it notes his feast as the 7th, and his death as the 6th. This seemed odd to me, so I did some deeper digging, and found sources evenly divided on the correct date of his death.

November 6

November 7

A Google Book search brings up literary sources with an equally poor consensus.

In doing the infobox, I stuck with the date reported in the article rather than introduce the controversy of a "6 or 7 November" for both his date of death and feast day (assuming logically that they're the same). Input? Can we choose the most legitimate source? I want to say that Catholic Encyclopedia, being the most venerable source, is correct, and an error was introduced, that Patron Saints Index mirrors in its incorrect feast day; or perhaps the date itself is in controversy. -Alekjds talk 00:28, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] New image

I replaced the image previously used in the article (Image:Anthony baldinucci.jpg) with the image Image:Antonio Baldinucci.JPG, which I located, cropped, and uploaded to Commons. This is the "full" version of the other image which was of poorer quality. Additionally, this new image includes some iconographical attributes of the saint (his trusty portrait of the Madonna). I think the other image will have to be orphaned, or tagged for deletion, since I believe this new image supersedes it. Alekjds talk 00:46, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
