[edit] Phased vs. Interferometric

Both of these items are the same thing (phased arrays use constructive interference). The only distinction is size and spacing of the elements. By reciprocity, the array can be used for receiving or transmitting. Whether the signal is astronomical or earth-bound is simply based on where the array is directed. We should eliminate the disambiguation page, just use a redirect, and ensure that the explanation is appropriate. Nimur 11:53, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
