The village was shortly built in the late-1950s and emigration occurred that lasted until the late-20th century that moved inhabitants to other parts of Greece and the world. Electricity, running water and telephone lines became linked in the 1960s. Antipata Pylarou became linked with a paved road in the 1990s.
