Antwerp Six

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Antwerp Six refers to a group of influential clothing designers from Antwerp's Royal Academy of Fine Arts that emerged in the 1980s and presented a distinct vision for fashion that established Antwerp as a notable location for fashion design.

Martin Margiela is often erroneously credited as member of the Antwerp Six too, though he was only part of the second generation, together with designers such as Lieve van Gorp.
