Antonius Kalas is a fictional character from Highlander: The Series, portrayed by actor David Robb. He is an Immortal.

Antonius Kalas was born in 369 in Rome, a foundling of the Kalas family. Kalas was a Roman and a soldier. In 408, Kalas was stabbed 30 times by a runaway slave and died, then became Immortal. Kalas later on met Brother Paul, who was also a Roman, and became his teacher. Paul was a monk who created a monastery in which Immortals can come to live in peace, to get away from the "Game". The monastery is located in somewhere in Europe.
Kalas has a very special gift, he is a very great singer. Over the years, he developed a talent for duplicating anyone's writing. Kalas, unknown to Paul, was using the monastery to behead other Immortals when they step off holy ground.
In 1658, Kalas is still in the monastery and singing in the choir. An Immortal is at the door of the monastery, Duncan MacLeod is greeted by Brother Paul and Brother Timon. Duncan meets Kalas and later on discovers that Kalas is using the monastery to behead other Immortals. Duncan was told by Brother Paul that Timon is leaving, Duncan decided to return a book that Timon let him read. Duncan saw Kalas behead Timon as Timon was trying to leave. Duncan confronts Kalas at the door inside and a minute later, Paul is angry that Kalas used the monastery to behead other Immotals, Paul was in the other room where he hear the conversation between Kalas and MacLeod. Paul expels Kalas from the monastery. Kalas is angry at Duncan and threatens him.
Kalas, using the alias Antonio Neri, is now a world-class tenor, singing opera in New York City in 1920, encounters Duncan MacLeod again. Kalas offers Duncan MacLeod's lover, Maria Campalo, who also is a tenor a deal, but Duncan convinces her she should go to London. Kalas tries to strangle her when they are alone, Duncan saves her and he and Kalas face off, Kalas and MacLeod crash into a glass door. Duncan is on the floor and takes a piece of glass and cuts Kalas' throat. Kalas now talks with a raspy voice and now has a reason to hate Duncan MacLeod more, Duncan caused him to lose his greatest gift of all, his singing voice.
In 1993, Kalas is living in Paris, he is the proprietor of the Nosferatu Jazz Club.
Kalas is living in Seacouver, Washington in 1994, working for Magna Records, which is a phony record company. He owns Vanderbilt Hall. Kalas lures Brother Paul off holy ground by offering him and his choir a record contract, Paul, not knowing it is Kalas who is behind the offer. Paul comes with the choir and sings. Duncan MacLeod and his girlfriend, Dr. Anne Lindsey, are there to see the performance. Kalas is watching from the studio, he sees MacLeod in the audience. After everyone leaves, Paul is alone and Kalas is there to greet Paul. Kalas fights Paul and takes Paul's head.
Later on and Joe Dawson's bar, a drug addict musician is fired by Joe cause he shows up late and is stoned, the guy tells him he got a record deal. He goes behind the bar and plants drugs there framing Joe for drug dealing. Duncan MacLeod's girlfriend, Anne, is working at the hospital and Kalas is there. Anne's friend dies cause of getting the wrong drugs and another patient dies also cause of the chart showing Anne's handwriting authorized it. Anne is suspended. Duncan MacLeod realizes that it is Kalas forging Anne's signature and proves to Anne's boss she is not to blame. Duncan realises it is also Kalas who framed Joe Dawson for drug dealing. Duncan grabs the punk who planted the drugs and forces to tell him where Kalas is at. Kalas is doing all this to hurt Duncan MacLeod.
Kalas calls Duncan and tells him to meet him at Vanderbilt Hall. Duncan faces off with Kalas and they go at it with their swords. Kalas nearly gets Duncan by forcing him off the side of the balcony, Duncan lets go and falls to is death, but is alive again.
Kalas goes back to Paris. MacLeod meets up with fellow Immortal Hugh Fitzcairn in Paris. Hugh is working for at a restaurant called the "Cordon Bleu" as a chef. Kalas, uses Patrick, an ex-boyfriend of Naomi, Hugh Fitzcairn's girlfriend. Kalas has Patrick retrieve a deleted program off the computer the Fitzcairn deleted so Patrick can expose him. Kalas calls Fitzcairn to the building and Fitz sees Patrick dead, killed by Kalas. The police are called and Naomi walks in the room to see Fitz standing there and Patrick dead. Fitz jumps out the window and escapes.
Kalas later on runs into Hugh Fitzcairn and they fight, Duncan comes running to where they are at and is powerless to interfere. Kalas defeats Fitzcairn and takes his head. After Kalas receives the Quickening, Duncan goes to take Kalas's head, but Kalas jumps into the Seine River and escapes.
A couple of nights have past, Kalas has plans to defeat Duncan MacLeod by searching for Methos, the oldest living Immortal. Kalas believes that with Methos's strength, he'd be able to defeat MacLeod. Kalas leaves the Jazz club and is being followed by his Watcher, Roger Harris. Kalas realises he is being followed and captures the Watcher. Kalas takes Roger Harris to his hideout and tortures Roger into telling him about who he is and why he was following Kalas. Kalas goes to a book store which the proprietor is also a Watcher, Dan Salzer. Kalas tortures him into telling where Methos is at. Duncan finds Dan Salzar and dies. Duncan discovers that Kalas is looking for Methos. Talks to Joe about who Kalas is looking for, Joe tells Duncan to go see Adam Pierson, a Watcher who is working on the Methos Chronicle. Duncan goes to Adam Pierson's apartment and senses the presense of another Immortal and discovers that Adam Pierson is Methos.
Later on that evening, Kalas goes to Adam Pierson's apartment and looks at his books. Methos arrives at his apartment and meets Kalas. Kalas and tries to take Methos's head, but Methos gets away. Later that night, Duncan runs into Methos, Methos wants Duncan to take his head so that Duncan will have the strength to defeat Kalas cause Methos cannot defeat Kalas. Duncan refuses to take Methos's head and he wants to find another solution. Kalas runs into Duncan later on and they fight it out, but the police cars are coming near, Methos set up Kalas to be arrested for the murders of Dan Salzar and Roger Harris. Kalas goes to prison.
Months later, Kalas is in prison. Kalas gets stabbed by a fellow inmate named Nino, a psychopath. Kalas comes back to life with Nino shocked. Kalas decides not to kill Nino, but to use him for his escape plans. That night, Kalas and Nino kill 2 prison guards get outside to prison building and go to a wall where a rope is thrown over the wall, it is Kalas's benefactor. Kalas and Nino climb over the wall and get outside the wall, only to find Amanda there, she is there to help Duncan MacLeod by taking Kalas's head, but fails, Kalas and Nino get away.
Kalas and Nino rob a man on the streets to take his wallet, clothes, and car. They drive around till Kalas senses another Immortal, Auberon. Kalas has Nino run the Immortal over to slow him down. Kalas takes the Immortals sword and beheads him and Nino watches Kalas receive the Quickening. Kalas kills some loose ends like the bartender of the Nosferatu Jazz Club. The widow of the Watcher that Kalas murdered, Christine Salzar, is going to reveal to the world about Immortals and the Watchers cause of a disc that Salzar created for a database. Christine is angry because an Immortal, Kalas, killed her husband.
Kalas hears about what Christine is going to do, Kalas goes to the Tribune and kills the publisher and Christine, then takes the disc. Kalas kidnaps Amanda, but gets away later on. Kalas goes to the Watchers' Headquarters, kills another Watcher, runs into Duncan MacLeod and blackmails Duncan MacLeod into not taking his head.
Kalas is at his headquarters and a Watcher is in a cabinet hiding trying to get the disc, he is talking to Joe Dawson, but is killed by Kalas. Kalas talks to Joe on the phone and wants to talk to MacLeod.
Later that night, Duncan, Joe, Methos, and Amanda go to the Eiffel Tower, Duncan got a message from Kalas telling him to meet him on the top. Duncan goes to face Kalas, but is reminded by Kalas about the disc, but Duncan decides to rid the world off Kalas. Duncan takes Kalas's head. Duncan realises that the Eiffel Tower is a lightning rod, seeing the thunder coming, the Quickening from Kalas is amplified and the power goes out in Paris, shorts out a lot of electrical equipment, Kalas's computer is shorted out and the Immortals and Watchers secrets are safe.
