Antonio Silva is a Brazilian mixed martial arts fighter. He usually fights in the super heavyweight division, and is considered one of the best fighters in that division, along with Ricco Rodriguez and Eric Pele. Silva is a skilled striker, and is very agile for a super heavyweight. He is one of the most touted fighters in his division and was the one man many people thought would defeat PRIDE'S Undefeated Heavyweight Champion Fedor Emelianenko.But after a disappointing loss to Super Heavyweight KOTC champion Eric Pele at BodogFight's inaugural fightcard. Though some claimed it was a slip Antonio accepted defeat. His most recent fight was at Elite XC where he defeated strong chinned Super Heavyweight fighter Wesley "Cabbage" Correira By Ko following a flying knee and continued strikes. He is extremely agile and strong but also has very strong Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. But he choose to use his power more. With only one win coming from submission and 7 coming from (T)KO.He has competed in organizations such as HERO'S, BodogFight and Elite Xtreme Combat.
