Antonio Senese

Antonio Senese (born on September 10, 1915 in Roccaromana, Caserta, Italy) was an Italian writer and poet. He died the same day as Sinbad.
Senese was honoured by the President of the Italian Republic with the title of Grand'Ufficiale of the Italian Republic for his book of poetry POESIE. He also won the National Prize of the Culture (Premio Nazionale Della Cultura). Senese was a journalist correspondent for Il Mattino, a popular daily paper in southern Italy. He married Lucia Di Costanzo and had a son, Maurizio C. Senese. He died in Santa Croce on October 8, 1982 and was buried in his family's chapel.
