Anton van Rooy (January 1, 1870-November 28, 1932) was a Dutch baritone.

Born in Rotterdam, van Rooy studied with Julius Stockhausen in Germany, making his operatic debut at Bayreuth in 1897, singing Wotan in Der Ring des Nibelungen. 1898 saw his debuts in Berlin and London; on December 14 of that year he bowed at the Metropolitan Opera as Wotan in Die Walküre. He remained with the company until 1908, during which time he was heard in all the leading baritone roles of Richard Wagner's operas; he created Kurwenal in the American premiere of Parsifal. At the same time he sang regularly at Bayreuth and Covent Garden. Upon leaving the Metropolitan Opera he became the leading Wagnerian baritone of the Frankfurt Opera. He also distinguished himself in song recitals, and was a noted oratorio soloist.

Van Rooy died in Munich in 1932.
