Antje Croton

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Antje Croton is a German immigrant in the USA. In 2004, she and her American citizen daughter were denied re-entry on advance parole to the US after a mistake done by the USCIS. Immigration officials prevented her from seeing her American husband, and denied her basic necessities for her 3 months old infant while being kept in deportation facilities.

The United States signed the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. However, the USA never ratified the convention. The case above involved a minor child being denied the right to see both parents, and inhumane treatment of immigrants.
