While working on her husband's apnoea monitor design she became convinced she had discovered the cause of cot-death.
Encountering scepticism, she became more convinced and proceeded to reinterpret various research to show that immunisation did not work, but if it did was bad. a peer reviewed paper about her [UToronto.ca (pdf) - 'Public opponents of vaccination: a case study", Julie Leask, Peter McIntyre, National Centre for Immunization Research & Surveillance, University of Sydney Vaccine, vol 21, p 4700-4703 (2003) PMID 14585678 ] |

WEBSITE jayne-donegan.co.uk/ | In 2002 Dr Donegan acted as an expert witness for two mothers who did not want to have their children vaccinated. The action was brought by the two absent fathers. Dr Donegan’s position was that:
1) there are other ways to health that vaccination 2) there are many problems associated with vaccination – which are still not properly investigated 3) vaccination is not mandatory in the UK 4) when parents who are separated fail to agree, it seems reasonable for the parent with day-to-day care of the child to make the decision. In the absence of any clear, open, objective and well designed studies on vaccination safety, the observations and recommendations that were presented to the court were made by carefully sifting through what studies were published in refereed medical journals and other sources; in particular looking at the methods and the results of the studies, rather than the conclusions which often did not reflect the findings. Analysing the data in this way raised serious questions about the usefulness and advisability of vaccination. See ‘Junk Science or Junk Justice’ at jayne-donegan.co.uk articles |
