Anthony Young (baseball player)

Anthony Young (Born January 19, 1966 in Houston, Texas) was a Major League Baseball pitcher.

After attending Furr High School (graduated 1984 [1]) and the University of Houston (1986-1987), Anthony pitched six seasons in the Majors with the New York Mets, Chicago Cubs, and Houston Astros. While with the Mets, from May 6, 1992 to July 24, 1993, he lost 27 consecutive games in which he had a decision. This losing streak is the longest in Major League Baseball history. Despite posting a respectable 3.89 ERA for his career, he finished with a record of 15 wins and 48 losses for a winning perecentage of .238%.
