Anthony Ward--The Prince of Flowers--Born in the USA 1970 San Antonio TX raised in Europe on Airforce bases---He has created floral sculptures for a wide array of iconic people--From His Holiness The Dalai Lama, Dr Maya Angelou (who coined the term floral sculptor for him), Alice Walker, Thich Nhat Han, Deepak Copra, Ram Das,--To Bette Midler, Madonna, Jane Fonda, Ben Harper, Depche Mode,-He created for the wedding of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke and the AP services said the reception looked like the set of Casa Blanca--He began his carreer as apprentice in 1990 to Wilbur Davis of My Son the Florist in LA who had a who's who of Hollywood as clients--Including Elizabeth Taylor, Sally Field, The Gettys,Cindra Ladd, the LA Philharmonic-----He has gone on to create a new artform --Megring Dance (as he has an extensive dance background) and the art of Floral sculture--He did his first such performance with Bobby Mc Ferrin as part of the 2002 San Francisco Jazz Festival---He has performed many times with Michael Franti and Spearhead -- He maintains studios in NYC and San Francisco--He teaches a workshop called Being With Flowers about floral art as a spiritual practice---He has been covered in In style, House and garden,Spirituality and Health and many news papers worldwide----you can see his work at www.beingwithflowers.com Anthony Ward (born in London, England) is a professional photographer. Ward began his career in the film and television industry where he trained as a cameraman. While working as a cameraman, the opportunity arose for him to move to Los Angeles where he opened up his own production company. He worked as both a director of photography and director on numerous jobs for the European television and commercial market. He currently resides in New York City where he has lived and worked for the past six years.

His work has appeared in various magazines including InStyle, French Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, V magazine, I-D, Details, New York magazine and Arena Homme Plus. His advertising clients include Helmut Lang, Barney's Coop, Aveda, Tahari, Vanity Fair corp. and Procter & Gamble.
