Anthony Schlegel (born March 1, 1981) is a current American Football linebacker for the New York Jets. He is originally from Dallas, which is where he graduated from Highland Park High School. He was drafted in the third round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Schlegel played college football at Ohio State University after transferring from the United States Air Force Academy. While at the Academy, Schlegel served as the team's co-captain, earning all-conference honors before transferring. Additionally, Schlegel was a state champion in high school wrestling.
Anthony was on ESPN's Monday Night Football for "Jacking Up" a Houston Texans kick returner.
