Anthony Davis (born Nov. 16, 1974, London) is a broadcaster and entertainer known for an enormous creative range. He first appeared in BBC sitcoms such as Grange Hill in the 1980s as a child performer, earning him a place in the Radio Times Guide to TV Comedy.
Davis' talents encompass music, magic, impersonation and comedy. As a host, compére and quizmaster he presented the quiz show 'Stakeout' on Challenge TV and Ftn. He made headlines as the voice of the '2002 Commonwealth Games' opening and closing ceremonies for a global TV audience of 1 billion viewers. As a BBC announcer and commentator he has voiced The Royal Variety Performance, 2004 TV Moments, Eurovision: Making Your Mind Up (2005 & 2007), and Comic Relief Night. He is a skilled DJ, stand-up comedy writer and performer, seen across all major London venues. His live daily radio show 'Anthony Davis For Breakfast' was heard every morning on Capital Life (DAB) in the United Kingdom until September 2006. He currently broadcasts on London's LBC 97.3 and theJazz daily from 10am nationally on DAB digital radio.
