Anthony B. Pinn

Anthony B. Pinn is premier theology and Agnes Cullen Arnold Professor of Humanities. His professional commitments involve work as the executive director of the Society for the Study of Black Religion and co- chair of the American Academy of Religions Black Theology Group.
His most substantive representation of this research interest is “Terror and Triumph, the Nature of Black Religion”. In addition to this text Prof. Pinn is also the author to fifteen other theological books. Pinn is currently working on a book dealing with the aesthetics of black religions experience. The goal to outline the African American humanist religion to which humanist theology corresponds to several humanist thoughts.
