[edit] Biography and personal life
He was born in Montemorelos, Mexico on September 25, 1971. At birth he was diagnosed with a malignant hemangioma on his right cheek and had his first surgery at the age of six months.
Having grown up in a deeply religious Mexican American household Anthony Acosta became a "child preacher" at age 12 within the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Mexico. By age 16 Anthony had completed all of the requirements to become a "Master Guide" within the Pathfinders, with the exception of the age requirement.
The organization made an exception and Anthony Acosta became the youngest "Master Guide" in North America. He was invested by Texas Governor Bill Clements in 1987. In addition to this, he was named Pathfinder of the Year in Texas.
In the early nineties, while going to school Anthony worked for various corporations in the import/export industries as well as the maquiladora industry as an IT consultant. In the mid-nineties Dr. Acosta opened the first Internet cafe in the Rio Grande Valley.
Cafe Ole was the first deli style restaurant to offer Internet access at your table. This trendy restaurant received rave reviews from both the local newspaper, The Monitor (Texas), as well as the Texas Monthly Magazine not only for the Internet access but for the great cuisine.
Soon after having sold the restaurant, Anthony was recruited to work with the Rothschild Family, conducting research at their facilities in Puerto Rico, Mexico City, and Cuba.
Anthony successfully took on the massive project of actualizing the Peoples University of the Americas - Operated by the Rothschild Family, and becoming the head of the university's IT department. He fulfilled his duties until September 1998 when the university was destroyed by Hurricane Georges.
Returning to the Rio Grande Valley, Dr. Acosta is the CEO of Kennedy Media Group, a successful website design corporation.
Currently Dr. Acosta is married and has two daughters Kennedy Marie and Jessica Lillian.

Dr. Acosta's Artwork has been described as monochromatic solitary visions. His primary medium is Oil on Canvas. His first One Person Show was in 1991 in McAllen, His show entitled Gothic Visions was sold almost in its entirety to a private collector. Dr. Acosta pursued his interests in Computers and has not released many more paintings. His works are in many corporate, and private collections.

Dr. Acosta has eight years of practical business management and consulting. He has worked with such companies as Rothschild Bioresearch, EDS, The Holy Orthodox Christian Church, Yahoo, Dish Network, Screaming Media, Yoyodyne Technologies, Qvision, and with several Cinema Production and Distribution Corporations.
Dr. Acosta’s interest is in the development of effective online marketing techniques and strategies with focus on website optimization, and the psychology of the online market. He has made numerous presentations at professional conferences and has published several articles on electronic commerce and innovative marketing techniques. He has been invited to speak at several universities on the topic of Electronic commerce from a managerial perspective.
Additionally, he has broad background and experience in graphic arts, new media design, data gathering and analysis, computer applications, electronic communication, and network design and management.
Dr. Acosta has worked with the Internet since its boom in 1995 and has developed over 700 websites for everything from Corporate Presences, to Online Academic Publications, to leading “movie” websites as well as electronic commerce ventures for large and small businesses alike.
He also has a vast consulting experience business revenue model development, and business plan optimization and implementation.
Currently Dr. Acosta works with Entravision Communications Corporation.

He attended four High Schools starting with Valley Grande Academy in Weslaco Texas, and continuing with the South Texas High School for Health Professions (Mercedes Texas), McAllen High School(McAllen) and finishing with Good Shepherd Christian School(McAllen) Class of 1990.
Dr. Anthony Acosta received his Master of Science with specialization in Computer Information Systems from The Peoples University of the Americas (A private Research University located in Ponce, Puerto Rico) in 1997.
Mentored by Dr. Peter R Rothschild, he received his Doctorate in Science (Specialization in Nano-Machine Manufacturing Techniques) from the same University in 1998. Dr.Peter R Rothschild held Anthony in the highest regard believing him to be a true polymath with his approach to problem solving and interests.
