Antec is an American manufacturer of computer components, founded in 1986 in Fremont, California. It is best known for its range of PC cases and power supplies, most of which are designed to run quietly.

[edit] Cases
Antec produce a wide range of computer cases. Some case models are the LifeStyle series, LANBOY, the newer Super LANBOY, Performance One series, Performance Plus series, Solution Series, and the Performance TX series.
- LifeStyle cases include the small footprint cases such as the cubes (Aria) as well as the popular Sonata and Sonata II case. These style cases also include a slimline PC case, called the Minuet II and an HTPC case, called the Overture II.
- LANBOY cases are designed to be portable gaming super mid-tower machines. They are made of aluminum and have blue LEDs for looks. It comes with a side window and is very light making it perfect for LAN parties. No power supply is included.
- PLUSVIEWII SOHO is essentially the same as the Performance TX SOHO case. This unit, however, includes a side window for looks, does not include a power supply like the Performance TX SOHO, and only supports four fans.
- Performance One cases are high-end products which are designed for performance. Performance Plus cases are identical to Performance One models, but include an Antec TruePower or NeoHE power supply. These cases are very sleek, especially the P180 with its simple design. The P160 can be bought with a full-view windowed side-panel.
- Solution Series are Antec's budget cases. They include sufficient to minimal cooling but do not include the other features of the higher model Antec cases. Models can come with or without a power supply. The sizes of these cases come in super mid-tower and minitower. These cases are perfect for the budget PC user and perform well for the money.
- Performance TX cases are made of 1.0mm cold rolled steel for durability. They come in minitower and a SOHO file server chassis. The SOHO file server cases weigh in at a heavy 30 lbs and comes in the familiar matte black and also grey metallic color. All of the Performance TX cases can be bought with a power supply. The TX1050B (black) comes with the SmartPower 2.0 500W sleeved, modular power supply. The TX1088AMG (metallic grey) comes with a 480W TruePower 2.0 power supply. The two lower-end models, the TX635 (beige) and TX640B (black), come with SmartPower 2.0 350W and SmartPower 2.0 400W power supplies.
- Titan 550 is a black server and workstation case, also made of 1.0mm cold rolled steel. It includes a TruePower 2.0 550W power supply and is designed for Dual Xeon and Opteron servers. These cases are targeted toward an enthusiast or a professional PC user.

Antec is also a manufacturer of power supplies. Antec's power supply models include the Trio, Neo HE, TruePower and SmartPower lines and the Phantom 500. The company recently introduced the EarthWatts power supplies, which have a much higher efficiency than most competing products and are 80 PLUS certified, the newest industry certification for highly efficient power supplies.
Antec's power supplies are manufactured by Seasonic and CWT (Channel Well Technology).

- The Antec Aria case, a small Micro-ATX case with a single drive bay, is labeled AΓIA on its front face, on its box, and in the documentation. To speakers of Greek, this happens to read as the word "agia" which means "holy" or "saint".
