António de Almeida Santos, GCL born in 1926, is a Portuguese politician, minister in several occasions and a former president of the Portuguese parliament.

Almeida Santos born in Cabeça, Seia municipality, graduated in law (1950) at the University of Coimbra. In 1952 he went to Lourenço Marques (now Maputo, Mozambique) where he was a lawyer until 1974, the year of 25 de Abril revolution in Portugal, when he returned to Lisbon.
