Anselmo López (born April 21, 1934 in Chaparrito, Barinas, Venezuela) is one of the most important bandola llanera executant.

He is the creator of El Jalado technique, that combines the technique of classic guitar applied to the bandola, with that, Anselmo López internationalized this instrument taking it to national and international scenes, Anselmo López is one of the cultivators of the bandola, forming new talents, and is one of the most representative venezuelan folk musicians, shaping it in inumerables discs and recordings.
