Ansells

Ansells was a brewery in the Aston area of Birmingham, England.
Founded by Joseph Ansell circa 1857, on the site of artesian wells.
In 1961 it merged with Tetley Walker and Ind Coope to form Allied Breweries.
The Aston Brewery stopped brewing following in industrial dispute in 1981.
Production was moved to Allied's Burton-upon-Trent brewery.
