Ansearch (ASX code: ANH) is an Australia based-internet company. Their main product is a search engine. The search engine Ansearch.com.au (formerly Mysearch.com.au) was launched in early December 2004.

The Ansearch.com.au search engines main point of difference with its competitors is to deliver spam free search. In this, the engine only returns domain names/home pages in the search engine results pages if the websites are available in the database, providing cleaner listings/results. The site also does not accept search submissions, making it free of search engine spam for the main categorised results.

Ansearch's directory is a combination of human edited and automation. Websites that appear in the Directory are added based on website popularity, which is measured across all Ansearch owned search brands.

Ansearch.com.au provides a popularity search feature. Sites in the search engine are ranked based on popularity and also ranked based on use by gender and age. The site allows the web user to search for data based on their gender and age.

Ansearch.com, Ansearch.co.uk and Ansearch.co.nz -All search engines are currently running in 'learning' mode and will launch in early 2007.

Ansearch.com.au also own the search engines Anzwers.com.au and Mysearch.com.au. Anzwers.com.au formally owned by Ozemail was acquired by Ansearch Ltd in March 2006 and is one of Australia's oldest search engines, being launched in 1996. Mysearch.com.au was launched in 1997 and was previously owned by startup.com.au.

In July 2005, auDA, Australia's domain name regulator seized more than 1,000 domains from Ansearch, saying the search engine company's intended use did not comply with its policies.

However in July 2006, AuDA changed their policies to allow for the monetisation of domain names. [1]
