[edit] I believe this to be valid and helpful

"Several songs on this album exhibit what can only be described as a florid, somewhat self-conscious style. However, their absurdist fantasy quality presages the fully realized artistry of Bringing It All Back Home and the succeeding albums."

Properly understood, this is a neutral observation. "Florid, somewhat self-conscious style" is not pejorative. Chimes of Freedom is florid and self-conscious - and it's also, undeniably, a work of art. Michaelmross 02:22, 18 November 2005 (UTC)

It's an unsourced aesthetic opinion, and therefore violates WP:NOR and/or WP:NPOV. Monicasdude 04:59, 18 November 2005 (UTC)
