[edit] Distribution
The genus is native to southern peninsular Malaysia, central Sumatra, southwestern Borneo as well as in the East Indies.
[edit] Description
These two species resemble much Asian pipesnakes (family Cylindrophiidae). They lack both a chin groove and teeth on their pterygoid.
[edit] Taxonomy
The genus Anomochilus was previously assigned to the subfamily Cylindrophiinae, of the family Uropeltidae.
