Hi there, any thanks for contributing to Wikipedia! I noticed that you made an edit to the article on Cougar Annie, and mentioned in your edit summary that you were (are) the grand-daughter of the article's subject. While I don't necessarily have any doubts about the veracity of the edits you made to Cougar Annie, would you be willing to also provide a source (or sources) which could substantiate you edits? Because the internet allows anyone to claim to be anyone (themselves or otherwise), Wikipedia has a policy on verifiability. In a nutshell, it says that it isn't enough for a statement to be true; it also has to be verifiable through a trusted source. If you could provide the reference for such a source, this would really help the article along, and avoid a lot of potential confusion down the road. I saw your changes to the article about your grandmother. Thank you for adding to the article. You will see that I have deleted some of what you have written. By doing that, I intend no disrespect for your family and I do not dispute that what you say is the truth. However, even though your help with the article is welcome, and your knowledge of her may be useful, for your edits to stick, you will need to recognize that what we are writing here is an encyclopedia. Everything must be written from a neutral point of view (see WP:NPOV) and must be verifiable (WP:V). We can not use Original Research here and comments that you add from your own personal knowledge are original research. Have a look at Close Relationships.
