[edit] Bad linkage

Partisan linkage should not be used as a source of information. It is a large mistake to think that a link to a conservative homepage could justify information on social democratic politician. I am also very disappointed with the non-bias focus in the article as well.

Jan and Anker arguing about the "47 committees" was a pretty frequent topic in the last election campaign. This criticism was probably first raised by Jan Boye, but also repeated by Fyens Stiftstidende, and mentioned in TV2/Fyn. The Tina Turner business was headline news on both national tv channels and it seems beyond doubt that it was influential in the election. It was also the topic of a large number of letters to the editor in Fyens Stiftstidende. On the other hand, Fyens Stiftstidende's ' focus on the struggle between Jan Boye and Anker Boye was a clear help to both of them at the expense of all other political parties. The election was a decisive defeat for Anker Boye (and consequently for the social democrats in Odense) with his number of personal votes down from 36,000 [1] to 18,400 [2], just like the election was catastrophic to Venstre in the same city (17,000 [3] votes slashed to 6,800 [4]). Jan Boye simply crushed both Venstre and the Social Democrats in Odense. Valentinian (talk) 14:19, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

Well I agree on a great deal of what you mention. But it still does not justify the use of linkage to a conservative homepage for information on this subject. And by the way, only uses appalling few lines to describe Anker Boyes twelve years as mayor of Odense. --ChocoFanten 20:55, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

You are welcome to add more information about those and his appointments in KL if you have it. You are also welcome to update the reference to e.g. Fyens Stiftstidende, but I haven't found the relevant page yet. The reference is relating to the number "47" (since it was such an odd number). For an article about a politician, this one is balanced. I added a [citation needed] tag to the Hans Christian Anderson celebrations and Tina Turner concert - if this can be supported, I would suggest removing the POV tag. PKT 19:13, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

I've added a few references. Unfortunately, the Fyens Stiftstidende article requires a login to be viewed online. Valentinian (talk) / (contribs) 10:53, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
