[edit] Needs more encyclopedic/less technical tone, references

I began wikification of this article to format it according to the style guidelines, and am finding it fairly hard to edit. The tone is very, very technical and makes heavy use of abbreviations, which is confusing in an encylopedia article. All in all this is a good start on a survey of animal models for this field, but this version (vs the pharmapedia version) should assume most readers aren't familiar with Animal Models, Glaucoma, or drug testng, and provide links to other pages for background.

Also, I expanded one journal reference that I found easily, but the other journal references need to be fully expanded beyond author/year.
