Animated glider from Conway's Game of Life, created by User:Quuxplusone as a possible replacement for Image:GameOfLife.GIF.
The first frame is a trivial modification of Eric Raymond's "hacker emblem" (http://www.catb.org/hacker-emblem/index.html) — which is licensed with intentionally fuzzy wording, but definitely "not copyrighted or trademarked". I relinquish any copyright interest in this work.
If anyone can make the file smaller or the scrolling smoother, please do. (You'd think ESR would use a 16-by-16-pixel unit square in his grid, but nooo, he had to use 18-by-18, which isn't very hackish at all — and, more importantly, isn't divisible by four! So the "hacker emblem" configuration is in three frames, while the other three configurations get only two frames apiece.)
