[edit] Anita Moorjani's Near Death Experience
Anita Moorjani is an ethnic Indian woman who was born in Singapore and grew up in Hong Kong. On February 2nd, 2006, Anita lay in a coma at a hospital in Hong Kong, suffering from end stage cancer (Hodgkins lymphoma). Doctors had told her family that she only had a few hours to live. It was at this point that she experienced a truly remarkable NDE (near death experience) followed by an equally remarkable and total recovery of her health.
The full story of her near death experience can be read on her website. Her remarkable NDE and complete recovery from cancer is also documented on the archives of The Near Death Experience Research Foundation (NDERF - based in the USA) as one of the most exceptional experiences on their archives. It has been highlighted on their home page as Anita M’s NDE. Her case has created enormous interest and commentary on an international scale, and her medical records are currently being used at various medical institutions around the world as a case study for further research.
In addition to her story being highlighted at NDERF, her story has been written about in numerous press publications as well as e-newsletters around Asia, and she has been interviewed on both English and Chinese radio in Hong Kong. Here are the links to these articles/interviews:
