Anis Boujelbene (Arabic: أنيس بوجلبان‎) (born February 6, 1978) is an Tunisian footballer. He plays the Defensive midfielder position for Egypt's African Super Cup Championship club Al-Ahly as well as Tunisia national football team.

[edit] Transfer to Al-Ahly

He moved to Al-Ahly in January 2007, after guiding his former club CS Sfaxien to the final of the CAF Champions League 2006, before losing out on the title to Al-Ahly, his new employers.

'I am very happy to join a big club like Al-Ahly' said Boujelbene.

'I have to admit that I was looking forward to play in the European leagues but playing for a club like Ahly is equally the same' the player stated.

Boujelbene was veritable dynamo in the middle of the field, impressing with his touches, his probing of opposing defences and his work rate. His performances in Africa's top club competition earned him a return to the Tunisian national side after a four year absence, his contribution having been noticed by Tunisian coach Roger Lemerre.

Boujelbene had been chosen the for the title of Best Player in Tunisia before. He led CS Sfaxien to win 6 titles.
