Located on the North Shore of Kauai is one of the safest and most protected beaches you will find on the island, Anini Beach [review]. With a fringed reef running the entire length of the beach, here you can enjoy your underwater adventures without ever having to worry.

One portion of the beach starts off with only four feet of water and then slowly cascades to over 100-feet on the other side of the beach. Be careful and always be aware of which side you're stepping in to prevent any injuries.

The beach is great for windsurfing and restrooms and showers are available. Anini Beach is surrounded by expensive homes of the rich and famous. One of these homes was actually filmed for the movie Honeymoon in Vegas.
