Anime NebrasKon is an anime convention focusing on anime, manga, their fandoms, and East Asian culture in general. It is held in Lincoln, Nebraska and run by Otaku Jinrui, The University of Nebraska–Lincoln's anime club,[1] and takes place in the City Campus student union.

Anime NebrasKon was first held in 2004 on October 9th. Registration was $7 before October 4 and $10 at the door.[2]
[edit] 2005
Anime NebrasKon took place from November 4-6, 2005, marking its first year as a standard-length three-day convention. Guests were Matt Burke, Tiffany Grant, Jan Scott-Frazier, and Shannon Townsend.[3] 2005 had an attendance record of 400+.[citation needed]

The 2006 convention was held November 17-19, still as Nebraska's only anime convention. Guests were Steve Bennett, Tiffany Grant, Kyle Hebert, Jan Scott-Frazier, Spike Spencer, Richard Townsend, and Shannon Townsend.[4]
