Anhui University (安徽大学, pinyin: Ānhuī Dàxué) is a university located in Hefei, Anhui province, in the People's Republic of China. It was founded in 1928 in nearby Anqing and moved to its current location in 1958. The school currently has approximately 34,600 students and 700 faculty members. It is noted for its foreign language programs, which include English, Russian, French, and Japanese. Anhui University is currently constructing a new campus, which will eventually hold more than 30,000 students.
