I would ask for evidence that she was the first woman created a Baroness, but it'd be rather pointless, as there is counter-evidence galore: Mary Anne Abercromby, created Baroness Abercromby in 1801; Mary Hill, Marchioness of Downshire, created Baroness Sandys in 1802; Charlotte Mary Gertrude Strutt, created Baroness Rayleigh in 1821; Sophia Elizabeth Wykam, created Baroness Wenman in 1834; Mary Elizabeth Campbell, created Baroness Stratheden in 1836; and I could go on for hours...
