Angus Maddison

Angus Maddison, Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Groningen.

Born in 1926 in Newcastle-on-Tyne, England. Head of the OEEC Economics Division from 1953 to 1962, when it became the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. Author of numerous works of economic analysis, including The World Economy: Historical Statistics.
