Anglican High School(Abbreviation: AHS) is an autonomous, SAP and Government-aided secondary school in Tanah Merah, Singapore. The school has just celebrated its 51st anniversary.

AHS was founded in 1956 by the Chinese-speaking congregations of the Anglican Churches in Singapore. It was the only Anglican school which had Chinese as its medium of instruction. All other schools of the Anglican church were English schools.
When AHS formally opened in January 1956, it had a Principal, three Chinese teachers, three English teachers, and 123 male students. Lessons were conducted in several classrooms at St Andrew's Secondary School.
It acquired the present Upper Changi Road site and erected the first school building in 1960 which comprised of 16 classrooms, 3 science laboratories, an administration-cum-staff room, an assembly hall and a symbolic clock-tower.

Work hard and do well in competitions and studies.
Do not leave the country when the country is in hardship.

Complete our projects/hand in our assignments and homework on time.
Do with all our heart and to the best of our ability whatever we are assigned to do.
Do not shun away from duty, do not blame and bear consequences when job is not well done.
Create an interest in what we are learning and doing.
Perseverance
Pressing on and overcoming difficulties to achieve our goals.
Do not let criticisms or bad circumstances discourage us.
Face the problems, do not run away from them.
Get back to our feet no matter how many times we have fallen.
Have patience, determination and confidence to hold on and move on to reach our goals.

The school song was changed in 2004, to simplify the meaning, so that students can understand the essence of the song.

An alumni Association exists to foster close relations between the school and graduates and also to promote social , cultural and recreational activities among its members and to keep the graduates updated on the activities and programmes of Anglican High School.
