Anglican Diocese of Niassa is a diocese of the Anglican communion. It is one of the two Anglican dioceses of Mozambique. This diocese is the more Northern of the two. It belongs to the Anglican Church of Southern Africa. Its Bishop is Mark Van Koevering, an American of Dutch descent. The diocese is three times the size of the UK, has more than 200 congregations, over 40,000 worshippers, and 22 priests. It has a link with the Diocese of London in the Church of England. Mozambique is a country with persecution of Christians.
